Live Arts | Writing | Founder
Wesley is a writer, producer, and founder of Colliding Lines. His journey began with an exhibition of drawings in an independent cafe; from here he discovered the joy of creating live events, and in 2012 he formed events brand SHINDIG – promoting and curating large, cross-genre concerts in unconventional venues. Wesley has produced dance shows, written experimental fiction, improvised live visuals, offered unconventional stages to innumerable bands, and collaborated with organisations such as Circuit, Cambridge Junction, Art Language Location and Allographic to facilitate new and original work.
In 2016 he released Ghosts By Post, a series of mail-order microfictions delivered to the reader at unexpected intervals, and in 2017 launched Tiny Shrines, a photoblog of his European travels punctuated by miniature installations hidden in park-ups along the way. Notable productions have included Sound & Vision – a 4-day series of live scored films – and written performance Shadowplay, an experimental text and sound piece that has produced two tours and tape releases with an evolving cast of sound artists. With Abi Palmer he has collaborated in producing Dancing in Code and Tall Tales Lab(yrinth).
He continues to travel, writing page poetry and funding applications from undisclosed locations on the continent.
