Wax
SOUND & VISION was a series of shows inviting bands to compose or improvise soundtracks to otherwise silent films, screened and performed live as part of the Romsey Art Festival. Much of the material was original, and many films were created especially for the events.
Filmmaker Artiom Barkun created WAX, a black & white film starring Karen Morgan, which was debuted on the second date of the festival. Headliners MOUTH wrote and performed a composition in response to the film, and the following video features a live recording of their performance. Audio recorded & mixed by Andy Hosker.
