Mouth, Bell Lungs + Short Film Fe(a)st | LEIPZIG
EN | DE
We are pleased to present to you our very first Leipzig outing, a co-curated night of live music and films for people who like both mediums leaning to the left of eclectic. The evening marks the finale in a series of short film screenings, programmed with the finalists of Palace International Film Festival, 2017.
We will be joining the celebration with the following handpicked headliners:
Theresa Elflein’s project MOUTH make their debut Leipzig performance following a post-Brexit flight from Brighton earlier this year. Presented with a new line-up, the art-punk pop group create music for the ears of Björk, PJ Harvey, Sleater-Kinney and Siouxsie and the Banshees fans – an expansive (and ever-expanding) mix of sounds delivered in cleverly written, structurally subversive songs.
We also welcome Scottish musician Bell Lungs back to Germany, for the music she brings is wonderful: a psychedelic cocktail of stunning vocals, avant-folk acoustics and rich, multi-instrumental soundscapes.
