Photography basically saved my life. I had a long addiction to alcohol and it nearly destroyed me. But I don’t say this to get sympathy. I say this because if I can overcome something like this and go on to travel all over the world, shooting and teaching in some of the best locations on Earth, then you can find your path in life too and follow it to places you never thought possible.
Through my passion for photography, I rediscovered myself. And now I channel this passion into teaching and sharing photography to as many people as possible. Through my photography holidays, workshops, public speaking, meet ups, the online communities I help to run like Urban Travel Europe and Cambridge Photo Walk and my YouTube channel I have reached tens of thousands of photographers like you and helped them deepen their knowledge and love for this wonderful pursuit.
I shot in 16 countries last year! My life is beyond amazing and I am so thankful that I was able to discover my passion and use it to create the life I always wanted. The only way I know how to express this gratitude is to pay it forward. Teaching others the skills that gave me this incredible life is such a privilege.
My camera has been my passport to places, people and experiences that I will never forget. Having the skills to be able to translate all that into photographs that have the power move others when they see them is something I can teach you to do.
