(E)motion: Call for Poems
Colliding Lines are looking for submissions for a poetry project, to be published later in 2021. Selected works will be reinterpreted and reimagined in collaboration with our in-house and guest typographic artists; a visual poetry remix anthology.
The theme is ‘(e)motion’ — movement that changes you, or emotion that creates movement. Over the last year many of us have had to grow and shift in response to the ongoing pandemic, despite being stationary and stuck in our situations. We want snapshots of journeys, and the energy that compels us to make them — be they physical, internal or external. We want poems that move us.
Our current collection H O M E will be released April 26th.
This is the first open call for this project. Poems should be no more than 30 lines, and they can be unpublished or previously published. Successful applicants will be contacted later in the year with more information. You can apply here.
