Izzy is a multimedia artist working across photography, moving image, installation, performance and textile. Currently studying Film and Digital Art BA, research topics include site responsive work, slow film and textile culture. Recurring themes of interest in her own work include space, nature, portraiture, and experimental processes.
She is also the creator of two collaborative zine projects, which feature illustration and text-based work contributed in response to photographs, capturing doorways of possibility in architecture. A third release asks a number of strangers we’ll never meet about the last time they cried – their only identifying feature a close up of their eye. Her latest, ZOOM Zine, is inspired by the featured artists experiences of communicating via screens. She particularly enjoys the workflow of creating the zines; from concept, photography, curation, print and construction.
