Everything Colliding Lines makes is sold direct. Small print runs, hand-finished objects, cassettes dubbed in short batches — the kind of work that never reaches a distributor and would disappear if nobody kept it in stock. Buying from us pays the maker first and the print bill second.

What you can buy

• Zines and print editions — poetry, collage, typography, concrete and asemic work, map-poems and matchbox editions. Formats run from A6 stapled pamphlets to perfect-bound books of eighty pages and more. See the full list on the Zines page.
• Tapes — limited cassette runs from artists in the network, usually forty to a hundred copies, each with a printed insert made for that release. Browse them on the Tapes page.
• Published work — anthologies, commissioned pamphlets and collaborative objects made with artists we have produced live. The archive is on the Publication page.
• Interactive objects — instruction scores, poetry passports, boxed kits and other items that ask you to do something rather than only read.

How ordering works

Items are listed with their format, paper weight, page count and price, and every listing carries a photograph of the object as it actually arrives. Prices are shown plus postage. Orders are packed by hand, usually within a week, and posted flat or boxed depending on what is inside — nothing goes out in a bag that will bend it.

When a title is marked not in stock it means the run has sold through. Some titles are reprinted, most are not: short runs are part of how the work is made, not a marketing device. If something you want has gone, tell us on the contact page and we will say honestly whether it is coming back.

Swaps and trades

A few editions are marked Swap rather than sold. Send us something you have made — a zine, a tape, a single printed page — and we will send the swap title back. It is the oldest way small press work has ever circulated and it still brings us the most interesting post of the month.

Shops, libraries and wholesale

We supply independent bookshops, gallery shops, artist-book collections and university libraries. Trade terms, sale-or-return arrangements and standing orders for the annual anthology are all possible; write to us through the contact page with an idea of quantities and we will send a stock list with wholesale prices.

Support the press
