Colliding Lines Programme Spring 2021
Colliding Lines are excited to welcome 2021 with a number of ongoing projects and releases, inviting new collaborations from artists across the creative spectrum.
Starting in March we’ll be launching a new series of print and tape publications, releasing at 6 week intervals throughout 2021. Alternating between audio and zine formats, this interconnected series of releases debuts new work produced between Colliding Lines artists and the wider creative community – spanning sound art, poetry, spoken word, illustration, and video work capturing film and performance.
Our first project, an excursion into visual poetry, invites writers to submit work for remix and reinterpretation by five different typographic artists. Joining our in-house poets Nikki Marrone & Nick Murray, and in-house designers Angharad Hengyu Owen & Emma-Amalie Rode, we’re honoured to be joined by artists Warren Lehrer, Derek Beaulieu, Lisbon small press studio Homem do Saco, and poets such as Daisy Thurston-Gent, Hollie McNish, Christian Marques and Aidan Baker.
We’re also launching an ongoing project, Interchangeable, created by Emma-Amalie Rode – an “Exquisite Corpse” style game passing work from artist to artist… To join the project and become part of the chain, please see the call out here.
